She worked with Mobil Oil Nigeria Limited as a Senior Accountant (1974 – 1979), from where she moved over to Crusader Insurance Plc, as the Deputy General Manager, Finance and Deputy General Manager, Management Services (1979 – 2002) respectively.

At Crusader Insurance Plc, she was a member of the top management and also a member of the management Investment Committee. She is a director in Crusader Properties and Crusader Trustees Limited and has also represented Crusader Insurance on various other Boards. She is currently the Finance Adviser of (TREM) The Redeemed Evangelical Mission and runs her own company Ginaek Nigeria Limited.

DR. LIZZY NKEM

writer, author and publisher; a seasoned administrator and manager who has held several leadership positions in the media in Nigeria. Dr. Ikem is the former Provost of the Nigerian Institute of Journalism (NIJ), the foremost Monotechnic for journalism studies in Nigeria, located in Ogba, Lagos State, Nigeria. She is a woman of many firsts: the first female to head NIJ, and to serve in that capacity for a record period of over 14 years, November 2000 to February 2015; the first female to chair the Editorial Board of the Daily Times of Nigeria; the first female Deputy Director of the Times Journalism Institute, Iganmu, Lagos, Nigeria.; the first female Editor of the Times Home Studies, a defunct publication in the stable of the Daily Times of Nigeria.

Furthermore, she is the first female Special Assistant/ Adviser to two former successive Managing Directors of the Daily Times of Nigeria; and the first female to head the Dunamis Publication Department of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM), for a record period of 10 years. Ikem was once a lecturer in the Mass Communications Department, University of Lagos, Nigeria. She has enjoyed a fulfilled career life in the media and allied industries for over 30 years. She started her career at the Office of the Head of Nigeria Federal Civil Service, later the Lagos State Schools Management Board among others.

She holds a Phd. in Language and Communication Arts (1988) from the University of Ibadan and M. A in Language Arts (1983) from the same University. She earned a B.A combined Honours in English/Philosophy (1981) from the University of Lagos. She also holds certificates of several Management courses, seminars and workshops attended within and outside Nigeria, including the Manchester School of Business Studies and the Nigerian Institute of Management. She is a member of several international and national academic and professional bodies.

Among others, she is a member of the Association of Communication Scholars and Professionals of Nigeria (ACSPN); she is a Fellow of the Nigerian Guild of Editors (NGE), a member of the International Press Institute (IPI), Zurich, and a member of the Lagos Court of Arbitration and the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators. Dr. Ikem is a recipient of several local and international awards, among others: “The Great Women of the 21st Century” Award, American Biographic Institute Inc. (ABI), Eclipse of the Woman Award, ABI, USA; “The Distinguished Nigerian Woman Merit ” Award; inclusion in “Who is Who” in Nigerian Women, and more.

ENGR. GODWIN AMOS AKPAN

He is a Petroleum Engineer from the University of Ibadan, an alumnus of ESUT Business School, Enugu; the Lagos Business School (LBS), Lagos, where he attended the Chief Executive Programme (CEP 15) in 2006 and Cranfield School of Management, UK where he attended certificate courses on developing Leadership Competencies & Strategy (2008) and Safety, Risk and Reliability Engineering (2008).

He has 28 (Twenty-Eight) years working experience in Petroleum Products Inspection, Bulk Cargo Survey & Control; Collateral Warehousing and Risks Management. Between 1986 and 1988, he worked with Chevron Nigeria Limited at Escravos production facilities. He joined SGS Inspection Services in 1989 as a Petroleum Products Inspector and rose to become a Senior Executive Manager in charge of Collateral Warehousing Division, a post he resigned in 1997 to work as General Manager, Operations in Materials Management Services Limited, Ikoyi. He left there to start Vibrant Ventures limited in 1998 and also acted as Country (Nigeria) General Manager, E & L Offshore Limited; an Oilfield Logistics & Quality Control company with head office in Essex, UK.

He has attended other professional courses some of which are; Materials Management in Industry, organized by the Nigerian Society of Engineers; Static and Dynamic Measurements of Crude Oil and Petroleum Products organized by Redwood Services, Essex UK, Master Class in Innovation and Strategic Thinking at Lagos Business School, (LBS) , Board Effectiveness by the Society for Corporate Governance Nigeria and Export Management Programme at Lagos Business School.

Engr. Godwin Amos Akpan is a member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (MNSE), Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) and member of the Institute of Directors (IOD), Nigeria. He is married to Victoria Godwin Akpan with four children.

Armed with over 25 years of Accounting, Audit and Risk Management experience that spans both industry, Consultancy, Finance, Taxation, Auditing, Equity and Loans Procurement and Administration, Risk Management, Finance and Banking. He worked in over six (6) National and International banking Groups majoring mostly in Risk Management.

Mr Onyenso’s last stint with paid employment was with Diamond Bank Plc where he was AGM and Head, Risk Management responsible for Risk Management Policy articulation, regulatory interface, Credit Administration, Loan Monitoring and Collateral Management and Administration. He was later transferred to Head, Credit Analysis and Process where his responsibilities among other included overseeing Credit Analysis and Processing both for Nigeria and for the West African subsidiaries of Benin Republic, Togo, Cote de Ivoire and Senegal.

He also saw to risk policy setting and helped to facilitate the credit process the UK subsidiary. Mr Onyenso’s responsibilities also included Credit Processing in Nigeria. He oversaw Credit Verification, Credit Disbursement, Crafting, Administration, Approval and Control of Credit Product Programs. Before this Charles Onyenso was Head, Corporate Lending in Keystone Bank/Bank PHB in Nigeria supervising lending activities to the Corporate sector and also among others, had an oversight responsibility over the bank’s lending activities of its subsidiaries in Liberia, Gambia, Sierra Leon, and Uganda.

He also worked at various times in Equitorial Trust Bank, Devcom Bank (now Sterling Bank), and Standard Trust Bank (now UBA Plc) with various responsibilities mostly is Risk Management. Earlier in his career Mr Onyenso had worked with Nnamdi Oyeka & Co (Chartered Accountants) where he rose to Team Lead/Audit Senior before branching off to Banking and Risk Management.

Charles Onyenso holds a Fellowship of Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria and an Associate Member Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria. He is also a member of Risk Management Association of Nigeria (RIMAN). These were after he had graduated from Abia State University with a B.Sc in Accounting in 1992. Mr Onyenso is an ordained Deacon of The Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM). And has attended numerous local and international trainings, seminars and workshops.

Olugbenga Benson

Deacon Adenekan Olugbenga Benson graduated from University of Benin in Benin City, Nigeria with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting in 1980. He joined the Chartered Accountants’ firm of Delloitte Haskin and Sells in 1981 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria in 1984. He left the firm in 1988 as Audit Supervisor to work with Chevron Nigeria Limited, an oil major in Nigeria and a subsidiary of Chevron Corporation.

Deacon Adenekan Olugbenga Benson worked for twelve years in various units of Chevron Nigeria Finance Department as Accountant – Expense Account, Accountant – Treasury, Analyst – Internal Controls, Senior Accountant – Budget & Forecast, Supervisor – Financial and Non-Operating JV Accounting and Supervisor – Special Projects. He was re-assigned in 2003 to the Planning Group as Planning Manager responsible for the NNPC/CNL JV.

In 2006, Deacon Benson moved to the Supply Chain Management Division as Manager, Business Management. He later became the Purchasing Manager and retired in 2016 as Procurement Operations Manager for the Escravos Gas-to-Liquid Project. He completed the Advanced Certificate in Supply Chain Management of W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University, USA, in 2008.

Deacon Benson has attended many technical and management courses in Nigeria and abroad. He is happily married with children and grandchildren.

BAR. Helen Egah

Helen Egah is a Legal Practitioner with over 10 years post call experience in Legal practice. She is a member of the Nigeria Institute of Management.

Helen has experience in company secretarial practice. Other area of focus includes Real Estate law, Wills, Administration of Estate, Probate, and private client matters.

She is currently the Company Secretary/Head, Compliance of Rehoboth Microfinance Bank. Prior to joining Rehoboth MFB, she worked with a number of commercial law firms where she provided advice to private companies on corporate and regulatory compliance and corporate governance.

She is married and have lovely children.
