Our Board structure enables our Bank to be positively focused in line with our Vision and Mission to set the pace for current operations as well as future development.




Francis Ohiwere Oleghe was born on 27th April, 1967. In 1989, he bagged an LL.B. degree from the University of Benin, Benin City, Nigeria. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in 1990. In 2008, he bagged a Master of Laws (LL.M.) degree from the Lagos State University. In 2013 he was awarded Doctor of Ministry (DMIN.) by Newburgh Theological Seminary, Indiana, USA.

He is Senior Counsel at F. O. Oleghe Law Firm based in Lagos and currently the Company Secretary of Rehoboth Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited. His motivation is to employ professionalism and excellent negotiation skills in resolving disputes, and to promote international best practices in the field of arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

He is a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Chartered Arbitrators, a Member of the Lagos Court of Arbitration, a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management, and a Certified Mediator with the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse. In November, 2016, he attended the Lagos Court of Arbitration-World Intellectual Property Organisation training on mediating intellectual property disputes, with special emphasis on entertainment disputes.

He has mediated complex staff disputes and Bank to Customer disputes at Rehoboth Microfinance Bank Nigeria Limited. At the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse, he has successfully mediated three cases bothering on property management, lease and a court-referred case of assault. He has also successfully co-mediated ten cases at the Lagos Multi-Door Courthouse bothering on bank-to-customer disputes, family dispute, land dispute, contract, estate development dispute, tenancy dispute and a court-referred case bothering on government demolition of private properties.

He has experience in mediating disputes on banking, intellectual property, contracts and family matters as well as arbitrating commercial disputes and all matters that bother on question of law. He constantly researches into both domestic and international commercial arbitration and has written several articles in this regard in the Journal of Arbitration. He is also the author of five books.
